Murder Suspect Traded Texts With Trans Woman Just Before She Was Found in Lake, Dallas Police Say

The 22-year-old man accused of killing Chynal Lindsey is the last known person the transgender Arlington woman spoke with before she was found dead in early June, according to police records.Ruben Alvarado exchanged text messages and a phone call with Lindsey in the early morning hours of June 1, the day police found the 26-year-old's body floating in White Rock Lake.Alvarado was arrested Thursday and charged with murder in Lindsey's death.
