Multiple Wrecks Clog North Central Expressway Near Walnut Hill Lane

Multiple wrecks turned the northbound lanes of North Central Expressway into a traffic nightmare Friday morning.Five vehicles were involved in wrecks that broke out around 2:15 a.m. south of Walnut Hill Lane, Dallas police reported. Two vehicles were involved in the initial wreck, but then a chain reaction occurred as more vehicles were struck.Damage varied from fender-bender to severe, but there was no information about injuries.All northbound lanes were closed until one opened up around 4:30 a.m. All lanes eventually reopened just after 6 a.m.  Continue reading...
