Motorist Hits Carrollton Student After Having a Seizure

Passers-by helped pull a Carrollton eighth-grader to safety Wednesday after the student was hit by an SUV whose driver lost control.Alex Sagcal was driving near Perry Middle School when he saw the accident, KDFW-TV (Channel 4) reports."There was dust and a lot of yelling and screaming," he said.Footage of the incident shows people rushing to help free the 13-year-old, who was trapped after the Chevrolet Tahoe struck a brick sign.Police said the motorist, a 31-year-old man who was in the SUV with his wife and 1-year-old child, lost control after having a seizure.
