A 29-year-old man was fatally run over by a car as he lay in a Carrollton street Wednesday night.Police say Jose Umana was lying in the 1600 block of East Belt Line Road, near Maryland Street, just after 8 p.m. A woman driving on Belt Line saw Umana in the road but was unable to avoid him.Umana was taken to Medical City Plano Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.A witness told police that Umana had been drinking and seemed intoxicated earlier in the evening.Police said the motorist was cooperating and is not facing any charges.
