Motorcyclist Killed Trying to Pass Vehicle in Arlington

A motorcyclist was killed after losing control while attempting to pass a vehicle, Arlington police said. Investigators believe the motorcyclist was heading east about 7:15 p.m. in the 4600 block of West Sublett Road, near U.S. Highway 287, and tried to pass another vehicle. The motorcyclist lost control and struck a curb, police said. The motorcyclist, whose identity has not yet been released, was ejected and hit a pole near the roadway.
