Motorcyclist Died in Arlington Accident While Trying to Evade Traffic, Police Say

A man who died last month after he lost control of his motorcycle on Interstate 20 in Arlington was identified Saturday.Officers were called to the 900 block of West Interstate 20 on March 22, where the man, George Huggins, was traveling eastbound on the freeway at the time of the crash.Huggins attempted to avoid slowing traffic, but left the roadway when he tried to apply his brakes, police said. He crashed on the outside shoulder of the interstate.Huggins, who wasn't wearing a helmet, was taken to a local hospital where he died.No other vehicles were involved in the crash, police said.  Continue reading...
