Missing Grand Prairie Couple's Car Found Near White Rock Lake

Police and family are searching for a young Grand Prairie couple who disappeared without warning after a domestic violence dispute.Weltzin Garcia Mireles, 26, and Alfonso Roderick Hernandez, 28, were reported missing Tuesday.Mireles' twin, Atziry Mireles, last saw her sister Monday evening. Weltzin had moved into their cousin's house with her 3-year-old son and 6-year-old daughter after a series of disputes with Hernandez, the children's father.But Tuesday morning, Hernandez had texted a goodbye message to his family, and Weltzin disappeared without making coffee, laying out uniforms or packing a lunch for her daughter, Aritzy said.Hours later, Hernandez's car was found empty by White Rock Lake, Grand Prairie police said. Dallas and Grand Prairie police have searched the area but found no other sign of the couple.Hernandez currently has a warrant out for his arrest, Grand Prairie police said.  Continue reading...
