Missing Garland Woman May Be Off Medication for Seizure Disorder

Garland police are asking for the public's help in locating a missing woman.Maria Elsa Lara, 52, has been missing for at least five days, the department said.Lara is described as 4-9 and about 116 pounds, with brown eyes and gray hair. She has a scar on her left elbow, and she holds her right arm to her stomach at all times. Lara walks with a prominent limp.Police said Lara suffers from a seizure disorder and may not have taken her medication for several days.Anyone with information about Lara's whereabouts is asked to call police at 972-485-4840.  Continue reading...
