Minivan Driver Sought After Garland Hit-and-run That Left Man in Critical Condition

A man is in critical condition after a hit-and-run incident in Garland Wednesday afternoon, and police are seeking the public's help in identifying the driver.The incident took place about 12:45 p.m. in the 4300 block of Action Street, where responding officers found an unidentified man lying in the street with a severe head injury.After examining video recovered from the scene, police say the injured man had been on a ladder attempting to tie a vehicle to a trailer when he was struck by a dark blue minivan passing on Action Street.The footage showed the driver stopping the minivan, exiting the vehicle and approaching the injured man on the ground before returning to his vehicle and driving away.Anyone with information about the driver or vehicle is asked to contact Garland Police at 972-485-4840.
