Mexican Man Accused of Sexually Assaulting a Child in Texas Arrested by Border Patrol Agents

A 21-year-old Mexican man accused of sexually assaulting a child in Texas was arrested Monday on suspicion of entering the U.S. illegally, officials said. Border Patrol agents took the man into custody and he was transported to the Comstock Border Patrol Station, where officials learned there was a warrant for his arrest out of Hays County, according to U.S. Customs and Border Protection. The man, whose name has not been released, had also been arrested multiple times on state and immigration violations, officials said. He faces prosecution for the illegal entry charge and will then be extradited to Hays County to face the sexual assault of a child charge.   Continue reading...
