Mesquite police are searching for a man accused of exposing himself to a 10-year-old girl Tuesday. The girl was walking home from school about 3:15 p.m. in the 4100 block of Blackwillow Drive when a minivan stopped across the street from her, police said. The girl saw the man get out of the van, look directly at her and lowered his shorts, exposing himself, police said. The man did not approach her or follow her as she ran to a friend's house to call police. The man is described as a 5-7 Hispanic man who is about 19 or 20 years old. He has short hair and a mustache and was wearing black and white shorts, a black hoodie and black shoes. He was driving a blue or green minivan with dark tinted windows. The vehicle's paint was faded on the roof, hood and sides, police said. Anyone with information about the man is asked to call Mesquite police at 972-285-6336, or Investigator Hervey at 972-216-6750.
