McKinney Police Searching for Driver Who Fled After Hitting Pedestrian in Shopping Center Parking Lot

McKinney police are asking for the public's help in tracking down a black car that struck a pedestrian in a shopping center on Feb. 18.It happened around 7:35 p.m. in a parking lot at State Highway 121 at South Custer Road. According to police, a black-colored vehicle, possibly an early 2000s-model Cadillac, hit a woman and drove off.The victim suffered injuries that weren't considered life-threatening, police said.A comment to the McKinney police Twitter account said the car resembled a Buick more than a Cadillac.Anyone with information should contact Detective Taran Shoemake at 972-547-2825 or send an e-mail to tshoemak@mckinneytexas.org.  Continue reading...
