McKinney Lifeguard at Large After Police Say He Touched Young Girl Inappropriately at Swim Camp

Police are searching for the head lifeguard of a McKinney pool after they say he touched a young girl inappropriately. Noah Bloomfield, 17, has been the head lifeguard at Apex Centre, in the 3000 block of Alma Road, since February, police say.According to his probable-cause affidavit, Bloomfield took the girl into a closet to put on a life jacket when she wanted to swim in the deep end of the pool.The girl later told a child advocate that Bloomfield touched her genitals while buckling the life jacket.Bloomfield told the girl it was their secret and had her pinky promise that she would not tell anyone, the affidavit says. A counselor at the swimming camp noticed that the girl, whose age was not released, was crying and asked her what was wrong.Before the pool's managers told Bloomfield about the accusation, he told them that he hadn't touched the girl, the affidavit says.
