Maypearl's Former Police Chief Is Convicted of Molesting 14-year-old Girl in His Office

WAXAHACHIE -- A former Maypearl police chief was convicted of sex assault charges Friday for carrying on a sexual relationship with a 14-year-old girl he met through work.The trial for Kevin Coffey, 51, lasted four days and included testimony from a 16-year-old and a 29-year-old woman who said he made them fall in love with him and molested them when they were younger.
