Masked Suspect Threw Cup Full of Acid on Woman's Face in East Oak Cliff Before Fleeing

A masked suspect who threw acid on a woman in east Oak Cliff last week remains at large. The suspect, in a black ski mask and a red hoodie, approached the victim at her residence in the 300 block of Bonnie View Road, near East 11th Street, about 1 a.m. June 18. He threw a cup full of acid in her face, which caused serious bodily injury, police said. He then fled on foot northbound on Bonnie View Road towards 11th Street.He's described as a 5-foot-6 Latino man with a medium build, police said. Anyone who might have come into contact with the suspect or who has additional information is asked to contact Detective M. Bailey 214-671-3621 or B.
