Man Whose Old East Dallas House Was Full of Meth, Cocaine, Heroin and Guns Gets 18-plus Years in Prison

The final defendant in a heroin, meth and cocaine distribution conspiracy case was sentenced to more than 18 years in federal prison Thursday. Juan Salazar-Sanchez, 50, of Dallas was sentenced to 225 months by U.S. District Judge Jane J. Boyle. He pleaded guilty in October to one count of possession with intent to distribute cocaine.On June 6, 2016, Drug Enforcement Administration agents and Dallas police searched Salazar-Sanchez's home in the 3200 block of Reynolds Avenue, near Dolphin Road in Old East Dallas. They found four loaded guns and 75.7 grams of methamphetamine in his bedroom.In a bedroom used by 21-year-old Uriel Aguirre-Arzate, authorities found 11.7 kilograms of meth, 3.4 kilograms of cocaine and 0.4 kilograms of heroin, as well as a loaded gun.  Continue reading...
