Man Suspected in Aggravated Robbery Spree in Austin, Waco, River Oaks and Fort Worth

Police are searching for a man suspected in at least nine aggravated robberies around North and Central Texas. The spree began around Nov. 15 in Austin, and the same man is suspected in other robberies in Waco, River Oaks and Fort Worth. The latest occurred Sunday in Fort Worth when the man reportedly robbed a clerk at a Family Dollar in the 7300 block of John T. White Road, police said. In each incident, the man approaches a clerk and shows a handgun or tells the clerk he has one, then demands cash from the register, police said. The clerk in Sunday's robbery was able to escape when the man reportedly took the clerk out into the parking lot.  Continue reading...
