Man Shot to Death During Possible Burglary in Fort Worth, Police Say

Fort Worth police are investigating the shooting death of a man found alone in his home Monday night after neighbors reported a burglary.The victim, whose name has not been released, was found around 9:50 p.m. in a home in the 4700 block of Chapman Street in east Fort Worth after neighbors called 911 when they heard shots, police said.Neighbors also reported hearing three shots fired and believed a burglary was in progress. Police found a broken window on the side of the house.Shortly after the shooting, a large crowd gathered near the scene to mourn the victim.  Continue reading...
