Man Shot to Death at Apartment Complex in Red Bird Neighborhood, Dallas Police Say

A man died from a gunshot wound en route to a hospital Friday morning in the Red Bird neighborhood of southern Dallas, police said.The man was shot just after midnight at an apartment complex in the 3900 block of Gannon Lane, police said, and was taken by witnesses to Methodist Charlton Medical Center.After he arrived, he was transferred to another hospital via CareFlite, but he died on the way, police said.No information is available about suspects.
