Man Pushing Stalled Vehicle Avoids Major Injuries in Arlington Wreck

Only minor injuries occurred when a stalled vehicle pushed by a man and steered by a woman was hit Thursday morning in Arlington, police reported.The man was pushing the vehicle around 1 a.m. on the right-side shoulder of Interstate 20 at Bowman Springs Road, Arlington police reported.An SUV traveling west went slightly off the road onto the shoulder and hit the disabled vehicle. The man pushing it jumped out of the way and escaped with a graze wound to his shoulder. The female in the stalled vehicle sustained injuries that were not life-threatening, police said.Police said the driver of the SUV was not intoxicated or injured.
