Man on the Run After Fatally Shooting Girlfriend, Lancaster Police Say

Lancaster police are searching for a man suspected of killing his girlfriend Wednesday night. Officers responded shortly before 10 p.m. to a domestic disturbance in the 2300 block of Verona Drive, near North Dallas Avenue. They arrived to find a woman dead inside the home with multiple gunshot wounds. Witnesses told police that the woman had been shot by her boyfriend, Samuel Ladell Brown. Her identity has not been released.Brown, 45, reportedly fled on foot and remained at large Thursday. He is armed and should be considered dangerous, police said.
