Man Kidnapped Keller Girl in Foster Care and Advertised Her for Sex, Feds Say

An East Texas man was indicted Friday after accusations that he kidnapped a 14-year-old Keller girl who was in foster care, then sexually assaulted her and sent recordings of the abuse to men online.Bobby Wayne Pearce, 50, was charged with aggravated kidnapping in Tarrant County and production of child pornography in federal court.Officials tracked him down in October 2018 when a 14-year-old girl did not return from school to the Keller children's center where she lived. Staff at the home turned over two tablets the girl had used before her disappearance and found several sexually explicit conversations with Pearce in which he acknowledged her age, according to a federal criminal complaint.Pearce said he'd arranged for the pair to stay with an adult friend in another state who could hide her from authorities in exchange for sex with the victim, the complaint stated."He likes young girls," Pearce reportedly said of the man.U.S. marshals arrested Pearce in Greenville, Ala., where they found the victim and three cellphones in his van.One of the phones contained several photographs and videos of the victim engaging in sex acts with Pearce.
