Man Fatally Shot During Argument in Love Field Area Neighborhood, Police Say

A man was fatally shot early Monday during an argument in a Love Field neighborhood, Dallas police say.Nicholas Edwards, 29, was fighting with two people in the 3100 block of Mahanna Street, near Cedar Springs Road a few blocks west of the Dallas North Tollway, a witness told police.Around 12:45 a.m., one of the two other people shot Edwards several times, police said. Both of them then fled north toward Lemmon Avenue in a red Dodge Charger.Dallas Fire-Rescue took Edwards to Parkland Memorial Hospital, where he was pronounced deceased, police said.Investigators have not identified any suspects in the case or released physical descriptions of the two people.  Continue reading...
