Man Fatally Shoots Woman in South Dallas, Flees in Car, Police Say

Dallas police are looking for a man who fatally shot a woman in South Dallas early Thursday.Police were called to the 2400 block of Birmingham Avenue, near Latimer Street, around 5:25 a.m. after a shooting was reported. They found 56-year-old Debra Williams, who had been shot following a disturbance.Williams was taken to Baylor University Medical Center at Dallas, where she died.Police said the shooter fled the scene in a four-door sedan that was possibly gold. He was described as a black man in his late 30s, about 5-9 and 175 pounds.Anyone with information about the case is asked to call Detective Jacob White at 214-671-3690 or email who wish to remain anonymous can call Crime Stoppers at 214-373-8477.
