Man Distracted by Drunken Driving Device When He Hit Arlington Teen Charged in Her Death

A man has been charged in the death of an Arlington teenager who was killed when he slammed into her car while distracted with a device used to prevent drunken driving, police said. Alexis Butler, 18, was backing out of a driveway in the 3700 block of Redstone Drive about 6:20 p.m. Nov. 10 when Blake Cowan's Chevy Silverado pickup plowed into her Toyota Camry, police said. She was rushed to an area hospital, where she died.
