Man Dies in Hit-and-run When Car Runs Off the Road in Pleasant Grove

A man standing in the crash was killed when a car making an unsafe turn struck him Tuesday morning in Pleasant Grove, Dallas police said.It happened around 4:10 a.m. in the 5800 block of Samuell Boulevard when a dark-colored compact car heading east on Samuell made a turn, ran off the road and hit the unidentified victim, police said.The vehicle briefly stopped but eventually fled the scene, police said.The victim was taken to an area hospital where he died of his injuries.  Continue reading...
