Man Dies From Gunshot Wounds as Suspect Fires Into Crowd at Fort Worth Apartment Complex

Someone got out of a car and fired into a crowd gathered outside an apartment complex, killing one man before fleeing the scene Friday morning, Fort Worth police said.The victim was shot in the back three times around 2:12 a.m. as people gathered in the breezeway of an apartment complex in the 4000 block of East Lancaster Avenue, police said.According to police, a vehicle with three suspects inside drove up, then one person got out and fired into the crowd. The victim was taken to John Peter Smith Hospital, where he died of his injuries.The suspects fled the scene afterward. No description of their vehicle is available.  Continue reading...
