Man Charged With Murder After Fatal Fight Outside Western Bar in Fort Worth

A Mansfield man has been charged with murder after a fatal fight in a Fort Worth nightclub's parking lot earlier this month.Jonathan Michael McCully, 31, turned himself in to authorities Monday evening in connection with the death of Nathan Brown, Fort Worth police said.Police said that the two men were involved in a physical altercation around 3 a.m. Aug. 11 outside the Electric Cowboy in the 8700 block of Camp Bowie West Boulevard. During the fight, McCully hit Brown in the back of the head, police said.Brown, 25, of Roanoke, was pronounced dead at 5:30 p.m. that day at John Peter Smith Hospital. The Tarrant County medical examiner's office has not ruled on his cause or manner of death.Police obtained an arrest warrant for McCully and he voluntarily surrendered to Tarrant County authorities, police said.  Continue reading...
