Man Charged in Death of 45-year-old Woman Found in East Oak Cliff Apartment

A 34-year-old man has been charged in the slaying of a woman whose body was found Tuesday in her east Oak Cliff apartment.Officers responded about 11:30 a.m. to a welfare check call in the 1200 block of South Ewing Avenue, where they found Gretchen Nicole Easton, 45, dead of homicidal violence.Police arrested Donald Jamain Henderson, 34, in connection with Easton's death. Henderson was taken to the Dallas Police Department's homicide unit, where police say he admitted to the slaying.Henderson was booked into the Dallas County jail. He faces a murder charge.
