Man and Woman Injured After Being Kidnapped in Northwest Dallas, Police Say

Dallas police are looking for two people who kidnapped a man and woman in northwest Dallas early Wednesday morning. About 2:30 a.m., a man and woman were in the 3600 block of Bolivar Drive when two males forced them into a vehicle, police said. The kidnappers drove the man and woman around to several ATMs before they arrived at an apartment, police said. The man struggled with the kidnappers and was shot in the hip, police said. The kidnappers fled along with the woman in a dark-colored sedan. She was later found in the 6600 block of Starling Circle, in the Love Field area. Both victims were hospitalized with injuries that weren't expected to be life-threatening, police said.Dallas police had called a news conference for 4 p.m. Wednesday about the kidnapping investigation but later canceled it, citing new developments in the case.No further details about the kidnapping were released by police.  Continue reading...
