Man Accused of Fatal Stabbing During Water Bottle Dispute in Arlington Wanted on Bond Violations

A Grand Prairie man accused of murdering a man at an Arlington apartment complex last year is at large after authorities say he violated the conditions of his bond.Darian Maquel Watts, 20, failed to report to a community supervision office and failed a urinalysis test, according to court records. Authorities obtained a warrant for his arrest last week.Police say that Watts fatally stabbed 25-year-old Drew Jones in a parking lot in the 1700 block of West Randol Mill Road the night of April 12, 2018. When officers arrived, they found Jones unresponsive.He was taken to Medical City Arlington Hospital, where he was pronounced dead from a stab wound to the chest just before 11 p.m.  Continue reading...
