Man, 19, Who Shot Himself in the Head While Handcuffed in Austin Police Car Dies

A 19-year-old who shot himself in the head while handcuffed in an Austin police car died Monday, one day after he was arrested.Zachary Khabir Anam was initially taken into custody by private security officers at Barton Creek Square mall about noon Sunday on suspicion of shoplifting and carrying a controlled substance.
