Mall Worker Struck, Killed in Parking Lot of Shops at Willow Bend in Plano

A woman was struck and killed as she walked through the parking light at the Shops at Willow Bend on Wednesday.The crash happened at the mall on West Park Boulevard in Plano, a police spokesman confirmed Thursday.The victim was pinned under a vehicle, and Plano firefighters were dispatched to rescue her.She was rushed to a hospital and pronounced dead shortly afterward. Her name has not been released, but she was reportedly a mall employeeThe driver told police that he did not see the woman crossing in front of him.
