Luxury Shopping Center Highland Park Village Nabs Chief Marketing Officer From a Competitor

Many shoppers can claim to know the local luxury shopping haunts but Victoria Snee is developing a resume to prove it.Snee has been hired to be the new chief marketing officer at Highland Park Village. This isn't the first luxury shopping gig for Snee. She knows the competition well. Snee just spent the last couple of years marketing Plano's new Legacy West development with 425,000 square feet of shopping and restaurant space.Before that, Snee learned from one of the best shopping center organizations in the U.S. led by Nancy Nasher, co-owner of A+ Dallas mall, NorthPark Center."After an extensive search, we are very pleased to identify Victoria as the individual who will lead our marketing initiatives and continue cultivating the Highland Park Village brand," said Stephen Summers, managing director of the upscale shopping center at Mockingbird Lane and Preston Road.She's a graduate of Southern Methodist University with a degree in broadcast journalism, for nearly a decade was an entertainment, lifestyle and fashion reporter at CW33-TV and on-air host of iHeartMedia's MIX 102.9 radio station.Snee's mission, according to a statement from the shopping center, will be to "nhance and elevate the customer experience and brand awareness locally, nationally and internationally."Trying to catch up with Snee this afternoon, so check back.Twitter: @MariaHalkias  Continue reading...
