Lowe's to Hire 900 in Dallas-Fort Worth for Spring Spruce-up Season

Lowe's is looking to hire 900 full-time, part-time and seasonal workers in Dallas-Fort Worth for the upcoming home improvement season.The North Carolina-based retailer said the North Texas hiring is part of a nationwide push to add 53,000 workers for the spring spruce-up season, which typically runs from March to September.Seasonal positions include cashiers, lawn and garden associates, stockers, assemblers of outdoor products and loaders. Part-time and full-time positions include service and support managers, customer service associates, cashiers, stockers and sales specialists. Seasonal employees' perks include a 10 percent employee discount and flexible hours, including the ability to see work schedules 17 days in advance and swap shifts with others, the company said.Lowe's said more than 200 of its store managers started as seasonal employees, and last year, 40 percent of seasonal hires moved into part-time or full-time jobs.You apply online or at local Lowe's stores.
