Lewisville's Castle Hills Development Is Getting a New Condo Project

Lewisville's Castle Hills development is growing with the construction of a luxury condo project.The 80-unit residential project will be part of the 324-acre Realm at Castle Hills complex, which is being built near State Highway 121 and Josey Lane.The two, 5-story condo buildings will have homes starting at around $200,000."There is a demand for condos in the Castle Hills area, especially for empty nesters like grandparents who want to live close to family, those seeking an affordable alternative to a single-family home and those looking for access to great amenities and connectivity," Chris Bright, CEO of Castle Hills developer Bright Realty, said in a statement. "While there are a few townhome options in the area, the condominium market is very lean and this product will fill a need for several buyers, including those who want a low-maintenance lifestyle but the benefits of homeownership."The first Sojourn at The Realm condominiums will be ready at the end of this year and will range in size from 956 to 1,600 square feet.The new residential building is part of a mixed-use project that includes the Offices at The Realm, a 9-story office building with 235,000 square feet of space.A park with outdoor entertainment space will open in the project this fall.The Sojourn at The Realm condos were designed by architect 505 Design based of Colorado.Regent Construction Group is the builder and Landmark Bank provided financing."The D-FW area continues to be a draw for job seekers and corporations. It's home to more than 100,000 businesses and 1,500 corporate headquarters, ranking fourth in Fortune 500 corporate headquarters," Bright said. "The community needs housing at varying price points and lifestyle products to support people moving into the area, as well as those moving within the area, as their lifestyle needs or preferences change."Castle Hills is a 2,900-acre residential and commercial community with single-family homes, townhomes, condominiums and estate homes, priced from less than $200,000 to $2.5 million and more.The project also includes apartments, retail and office space along with a country club and golf course.  Continue reading...
