Kurt Rathjen, Dallas Orthopedic Surgeon Who Relieved Hip and Knee Pain for Thousands, Dies at 60

During his 28 years as a Dallas orthopedic surgeon, Dr. Kurt Walter Rathjen helped more than 10,000 patients find relief, especially for their hip and knee pain.He was one of the first in Dallas to perform the Birmingham hip resurfacing procedure, a partial hip replacement.Rathjen, 60, died Nov. 20 at his Dallas home of complications of colon cancer.  Continue reading...
