Jurors Watch Woman Buy Pregnancy Test an Hour Before She Was Stabbed 40 Times

One of the last things Isela Sanchez did before she was stabbed to death in her Grand Prairie home was buy a pregnancy test.Jurors on Wednesday watched surveillance footage of the 22-year-old leaving a Wal-Mart and getting in a gold sedan belonging to her estranged boyfriend, John Pauley Stover.Stover, 21, pleaded not guilty this week as his murder trial began in a Dallas County courtroom.An hour after Sanchez left the Wal-Mart on Dec. 9, 2015, police found her body on the porch of her home on Silver Trail, off West Camp Wisdom Road near Joe Pool Lake.She had been stabbed more than 40 times, with a knife and another sharp object, and died later that day in the operating room at Medical Center of Arlington.  Continue reading...
