A man was killed Tuesday afternoon when he was hit by a train in Haltom City, police say. Witnesses and the train crew said the man was jogging about 3:45 p.m. alongside the railroad tracks in the 2000 block of Carson Road when he was hit by a passing Amtrak train. A pair of wireless earbuds was found at the scene, but it was not clear if the man had been wearing them, police said.
