Jimmy John's Employee Stabs Man After Chasing 2 Sandwich Thieves in Denton

A Jimmy John's employee stabbed a man in the stomach early Monday after chasing after, and getting in a fight with, two men he said stole sandwiches from his store.Police were called to the Jack in the Box in the 1400 block of West Hickory Street, just north of the University of North Texas, the Denton Record-Chronicle reports. The sandwich-shop worker told them he had gotten back to the store in the 100 block of Avenue A from a delivery just after 1 a.m. and saw a co-worker run out of the store after two men who had taken sandwiches.
