Jamba Juice Manager Made Up Robbery After Stealing From Southlake Store, Police Say

Southlake police arrested a Jamba Juice employee Friday after they said she falsely reported a robbery and was found with heroin in her bag.Amanda Topolinski, 32, a general manager at the Jamba Juice in the 200 block of State Street, called authorities just after noon Friday to report that a man had threatened her with a gun and demanded money from the store's safe, Southlake police said on Twitter.Officers who responded to the call took a description of the suspect. After checking the area and looking at surveillance footage of the surroundings, police said they determined that no one fitting Topolinski's description had recently entered the smoothie shop.  Continue reading...
