Jailhouse Video Shows Veteran ‘catatonic' After He Was Accused of Killing Four Women, Injuring Four Children

A jailhouse video shows Erbie Lee Bowser in a "catatonic" state in the hours after authorities said he killed four women and shot and injured four children. The video also shows officers use a Taser twice on Bowser -- who is 6-foot-7 and weighs 400 pounds -- after he appeared to charge at them. The video was played for jurors Wednesday during the capital murder trial for Bowser. The U.S. Army veteran is accused of killing his girlfriend Toya Smith, 43, and her daughter, 17-year-old Tasmia Allen, in Dallas before driving to DeSoto and killing his estranged wife, 47-year-old Zina Bowser, and her daughter, Neima Williams, 28, onAug. 7, 2103. The four children shot in both houses testified earlier in the week that Bowser was the gunman.
