Gerry Mandel, a life-long Dallasite, grew up exploring the Dallas Museum of Natural History at Fair Park. Mandel, 88, said he first visited the museum not long before it opened, and continued visiting the museum as often as he could.“First of all, the diorama were absolutely fantastic,” he said. “I took visitors often, and my family, of course.
