The Irving Police Department is investigating a shooting that killed a woman in a home in the 3000 block of Lark Lane on Thursday.The victim, identified as 58-year-old Susan Bufford Maleskey of Jacksonville, Texas, was discovered around 7 p.m. by a family member, police reported.The motive is unclear, but detectives said they do not believe it is a random event and have identified a suspect.
