Irving Mayor Beth Van Duyne Starts New Job With Trump Administration

Irving Mayor Beth Van Duyne has started a new job as a regional administrator under Housing Secretary Ben Carson.The outspoken Republican will oversee Housing and Urban Development operations in five states, including Texas. She's based in Fort Worth.In March Van Duyne, after months of speculation, told a group at the AT&T Byron Nelson kickoff luncheon that she was joining the new administration of President Donald Trump.
