Large portions of an Irving apartment complex were burning as firefighters battled a blaze that quickly escalated Thursday morning.There are no reports of injuries so far after fire broke out around 8 a.m. in the 3800 block of North Belt Line Road. Firefighters assumed a defensive posture as flames shot from the roof of the two-story building.
