Intruder Killed by Fort Worth Homeowner Who Was Tucking Kids Into Bed

A Fort Worth man shot and killed a person who broke into his home Tuesday night as the family got ready for bed, police said. The family was tucking their children in about 7:15 p.m. at their home in the 10800 block of Camp Bowie West Boulevard when they heard a loud bang of someone breaking down their front door, police told WFAA-TV (Channel 8).The father got a gun and shot the suspect, who died at the scene, police said. The family and the suspect have not been identified.The father was hospitalized with injuries not thought to be life-threatening, the station reported.   Continue reading...
