Interstate 35E Shut Down in Dallas After Suspected Grenade Found Following Fatal Crash

Interstate 35 is closed in North Dallas after authorities found what could be a grenade while investigating a fatal accident. Drivers should avoid the area, the Dallas County Sheriff's office said.The northbound and southbound lanes are closed at Walnut Hill and Royal Lane, WFAA (Channel 8 reported).The grenade was found in the vehicle of the driver who died. It is not clear whether the object found is real or fake. The Dallas Police Department bomb squad is at the crash site. The interstate could be closed for a few hours.  Continue reading...
