How to Get Revenge on a Building Contractor Who Takes the Money and Runs

In the annals of Watchdog Nation, I've never seen a building contractor take money, not do a job and then so easily confess his fraud under oath.Usually a bad builder or roofer will lie, cheat and steal to avoid responsibility.Usually the victim — and I hear about these failed contractor problems all the time — never gets their money back or sees any justice.Police and prosecutors don't like to take these cases. They say they're civil, not criminal. Because of that and because builders are not licensed in Texas, take-the-money-and-run contracting is an easy crime to get away with.
