Houston Airports Plan to Resume Limited Operations Wednesday

Limited passenger operations are expected to resume at Houston airports Wednesday afternoon, several days after Hurricane Harvey forced them to close, triggering thousands of flight cancellations. The Houston Airport System said flights are expected to start operating at 4 p.m. at both George Bush Intercontinental Airport and Hobby Airport, but warned that a return to full service wasn’t expected until at least the weekend.United Airlines plans to operate three flights in and three flights out of George Bush Intercontinental Airport on Wednesday, spokesman Charles Hobart said.
